Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country musician and singer whose tales of heartbreak in the early years achieved wide recognition in the beginning of the 20th century. Swift's love for music started when she was a young age. From musicals for kids to performing before thousands, Swift made rapid progress. When she was 11 years old, she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball match and the following year she picked up the guitar and started writing songs. Swift wrote original songs that was inspired by country artists like Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) and Dixie Chicks. Her material was a reflection of Swift's experiences as a tween and the feeling of alienation. Swift left Pennsylvania together with her parents, in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she was 13 years old to dedicate her time in contacting country labels.
