Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza born June 26 1984 is an actress and comedian well-known for her witty humorous sense of humor. She is April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. Her web series debut was the Jeannie Tate Show after she performed improv, sketch and slapstick comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Her career continued with appearances in Funny People by Judd Apatow and Scott Pilgrim, in vs. World. We should celebrate her birth today. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of Bernadette Plaza (an attorney) and David Plaza (a financial specialist) was born in Wilmington Delaware. Her mother and father are both English/Irish and Puerto Rican. Plaza has graduated from an Catholic all-girls school in 2002. She then attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in the year 2006. The year she completed her senior year in high school, she was President of the Student Council at the Catholic school for all girls as well as a participant in Wilmington Drama League performances. Plaza was paralyzed for some period of time in 2004, following a stroke. She's now completely recovered. Since 2004 Plaza has been doing sketches and improv in The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two places located in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed stand-up comedy. Plaza appeared in the role of Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show as well as the debut episode Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. On CollegeHumor's Troopers she performed the role of Princess in an satirical sci-fi creation. Plaza was the first saxophonist to debut in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. The first time she appeared was as a guest in the The Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings 'in 2012. HarmonQuest included Plaza in 2016 for her role as Hawaiian Coffee the gnome. That same year she portrayed Aaron Burr In Drunk History as well as Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds is a television series. The role of the actress was resurrected by her in Season 12. The day after her debut, Plaza appeared in An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
