Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has left a lasting impression on the screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. She moved to Texas in order to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas then moved in Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles including local independent films and international commercials. She quickly found her passion in the field of acting even in minor parts. Then she moved in New York in 2001 and got her first role on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. Through the first half of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in the year 2004, on the underrated dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of the best TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. The most memorable part of her career was in 2006's Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. Then, she appeared in her role in the Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. Her character was recognized with several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. A short moment later De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was Marisol Deko and was also the the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. As the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The show was canceled after two short episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She was born Italian as well as having a 10 year old younger brother named Cory. She was raised in a family that was conservative and very spiritual. Milano was seven years older when her babysitter took Milano to a talent show. The audition she took part in was one of over 1000 hopefuls. Milano was chosen as the only girl. Milano performed on TV ads as well as off Broadway shows, like the American premiere musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
